Been alot of heat waves and hell-raisin’ so we hope you cats and kittens are keepin’ cool!
If it sounds like our small-town sweetheart Maureen has suddenly gone hepcat it’s thanks to the gang at Joe’s where she’s been spendin’ her Tuesday nights gettin’ dipped and twirled. In fact, swing sister Mary Pittman challenged “Miss Mo” to a 101 day dance challenge – to dance 101 days, with a “knowledgeable” social dance partner (including but not limited to Swing, Blues, Tango, Salsa) for a minimum of 3 songs or 7 minutes per day — from Tuesday August 24th to Friday December 3rd – at home, at a club, at work, in a parking lot with a car stereo or an IPhone. Ya know what that means:
some new rockabilly-infused tunes on the next FLUTTERBIES CD and at our upcoming gigs! Come meet up with our crazy canary and dance at Joe’s!

Both Maureen and songwriting pal Adam Daniel are featured in the “Hot For Teaching” article by Rob Putnam for MUSIC CONNECTION MAGAZINE.
Our diminutive diva teaches voice to kids and adults alike at Rock Nation School, and Adam brings songwriting to the schools through Rock the Classroom.
